Hello, beautiful Bliss Dancers and Lovers of Life!

It is the end of the summer, (or at least it is here in North America.)
Some folks are on vacation and things are a wee bit slower.

This is a wonderful time to keep things simple because the environment supports you to do so.

So... This week’s theme is…simplicity.

What can you simplify in your life, even just for this week?
What can you take off  your to-do list?
How little can you do?
I encourage you to pause as often as you are able this week and ask yourself,

“what would it be like if I did not do/say/try this?” I’m not saying you shouldn’t do it, just to pose the question and see what you learn.

Have fun with this, and let me know how it goes.

In Bliss,
Rachel

Mr. Rogers 10 Second Meditation.
Try it now.
It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood!

(Video link here will take you to exactly the right point.)  We love Fred Rogers’ —the famed Mister Rogers’ — perfect, illuminating acceptance speech for the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 24th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
Rogers presents a simple 10-second practice that will shift your view, and provide you with a tool you can carry around throughout the day. (It starts at 1:27 seconds, or click the video link to go right there.) read more…

Be good...enough!

I saw this today, right after mentioning it to several clients who are so hard-working, and need a break...
I love this truth. Sometimes good enough really is fabulous..

Happy New Year Friends!

Here's to a magical, luminous, surprisingly-joyous, madcap fun new year!

ENJOY!
Here's what up this Friday.
Happy New Year - a little late - by the way.

Today, can you remember this:
Wherever you are
Whatever you are feeling:

Someone's got your back

We spend so much time mired in our false sense of alone-ness.
It aint worth it.
Can you think of one person whose got your back today?
Try it - take a moment and remember the last time a little miracle hit you on the shoulder.
I remember getting on the bus and not having bus fare.
Only had a twenty. Yup.
This aged man across from me immediately dipped into his wallet, produced 2 crisp one dollar bills and offered them to me.
I was in a moment of dis-believing that people were kind. He showed me!

Let kindness in today.
Let me know how it goes.

See you in the dance...
Rachel
